Drawings stay local
UDCAD processes drawings using AutoCAD on your PC. Its licensing service does not upload or receive your DWG files. Local working copies, reports and diagnostic logs remain in the app's user-data folder until you clear them. AutoCAD itself is governed by Autodesk's separate privacy terms.
Subscription data
The server stores purchase and payment identifiers, subscription state, paid dates, PayPal payer email when supplied, an encrypted license key, a hashed device identifier, your PC name and administrator audit entries. These are used to deliver the subscription, enforce the one-PC license, handle support, reconcile payments and investigate abuse. Network services necessarily receive your IP address; the application uses it for temporary rate limits. Hosting providers may retain infrastructure logs under their own configurations.
PayPal and browser storage
PayPal receives payment information directly; UDCAD does not collect card numbers or PayPal passwords. The purchase website stores a receipt token in your browser's session storage to retrieve your key after payment. The companion stores encrypted activation information using Windows protection. The workspace stores an origin-bound companion session token in browser session storage for up to 12 hours, until the companion restarts or you revoke it. The pairing code is single use and expires after five minutes. DWG bytes are sent only to 127.0.0.1 on your own PC. Reports and task names displayed in the workspace are fetched directly from that companion, not from our server. The app and website contain no advertising trackers or product analytics in this release.
Access and retention
Contact the seller to request access, correction or deletion. Payment and audit records may need to be retained for tax, accounting, fraud prevention or dispute obligations. Backups may retain records until their retention period expires. The seller must define and publish concrete retention periods and hosting/transfer details before live sales. Never send drawings to support without deciding what may be shared.
